Chris Stapleton Collaborates With A Non-Profit For His Music Video
That soulful voice: Chris Stapleton can croon and pick a guitar in ways that can speak to your heart. Every word he sings, every note he plays – Chris Stapleton sings and plays with every fiber of his being. That kind of sincerity and authenticity is a rare gem these days, and is usually tied to an individual with a lot on his mind and some heaviness in his heart. When Chris Stapleton sings, we all listen.
Right now, Mr. Stapleton is using that voice to raise awareness for those who suffer from mental health disease.
In his newest video for “Fire Away,” Chris has collaborated with the nonprofit organization “Campaign to Change Direction,” a group that is dedicated to raising awareness, understanding, and recognition of individuals suffering from mental health issues and disease. Among the most important calls to action that the organization shares is how to recognize the five signs that someone is possibly suffering from a mental health condition. In the video, these five signs (change in personality, agitation, withdrawal, decline in personal care, and hopelessness) are acted out and explored.
