Granger Smith is a man who loves his country.
The patriotic crooner, who gained popularity through his independent releases and long nights touring, released his first major label album titled “Remington” this month. The album has already seen one song blast its way up the Billboard chart with his debut single, “Backroad Song,” and it would appear the follow-up single “If the Boot Fits” is experiencing the same Country music chart-climbing trajectory.
And how does a patriotic man such as Granger Smith, complete with a new album, a hit single, and a busy touring schedule celebrate and support these accomplishments?
Why, you schedule a two-day tour of the United States and invite fans to join you in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Visiting locations in the original 13 colonies, as well as Washington D.C., Granger Smith is hitting the road again, but this time, not to sing. He’s just there to praise the country he loves and to invite others to remember what the Pledge of Allegiance really means.
In a press release, Granger explained why he has embarked on the Granger Across Merica Pledge of Allegiance Tour. “I’ve always felt compelled to voice my love of this country. My granddad and so many countless others have fought for our freedom. That freedom allows us as Americans to pursue our dreams and I am proof they can come true. I feel blessed to have a platform that may inspire others to remember what this nation was founded on. I hope folks will join me in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance as a symbol of our thanks for those who defend our God-given rights.”
