Country music is well known for being one of the most giving, selfless, and caring collection of artists. The gents of Montgomery Gentry are once again showing the world what giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate looks like.
Montgomery Gentry will be performing, supporting, and dining with “Hits for the Homeless” on May 9th, 2016 in Franklin, Tennessee. The duo will be performing an intimate acoustic set as well as staying for a dinner and silent auction. The proceeds for the event will go directly to Layman Lessons, and organization that provides not only food to local homeless individuals, but also water bottles and survival blankets.
Laymen Lessons also works directly with serving individuals suffering from addictions as well as mental illness. The subject hits close to Montgomery Gentry’s heart, as Eddie Montgomery lost his son Hunter last year to a drug overdose.
When it comes to giving back, no one does it better than country musicians! Music we love and artists we can be proud of.
