Tim McGraw shows up on the Jimmy Kimmel show and discusses some of the rough places he played coming up on the country music scene.
When Jimmy asks Tim if they had a truck in the early days, Tim replies with "We didn't have a truck, we had a van. We called it our Cheech and Chong van." And they pulled a Uhaul trailer around to the venues.
He then discusses one club they played that had bullet holes in the stage from the night before. He said "We were hoping we'd be good enough that they wouldn't have to shoot at us."
We're happy he was good enough to get out of there!
