Anyone who has ever witnessed the military bands that are composed of our brave men and women in uniform know that they are a sight to be seen (and to be heard).

Among the most well respected military bands in the United States is the U.S. Navy’s own The United States Navy Band. The precision, the crisp outfits, and the flawless sound sets the Navy Band apart from nearly all other ensembles in the world. And…They are going country!

The United States Navy Band has their own country music group called Country Current. Country Current is known worldwide for the bluegrass music and contributions to the genre of country music in general.

The seven-piece ensemble, which includes a five piece acoustic core, has been performing worldwide since 1973, performing at the Grand Ole Opry, on over 500 radio stations, and countless music festivals.

Their United States summer tour will begin and end as fast as you can say “Big Beautiful Bluegrass!” The tour, which starts in Minnesota on August 31st will end just over two weeks later in Wyoming.

This Midwestern American Tour will not be one to miss. Support your troops and listen to some amazing music along the way!
