Country Music is BIG Business! Guess How Much Garth Brooks Made in Just One Year...

For as long as we can remember, country music has been eclipsed under the THUMP THUMP THUMP bass and perfectly synchronized dance moves of pop music. The top earners for the longest time have been boy bands, pop groups, and tiny teenage girls singing about young love while wearing next to nothing.

Look out, Poptarts: Country is comin’ up strong in earnings now!

It seems the world is starting to catch up with what so many of us have known for years: Country music is about real feelings, real love, real fun, and real simplicity. It’s about real artists playing real instruments and singing without auto-tuners. As America keeps reaching for the real goodness of country, the tides are starting to turn on who are the top earners in the music industry.

Miranda Lambert brought in $28.4 million dollars just last year and Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean brought in a whopping $42 million each. Toby Keith has had one of the most successful years on record with over $53 million dollars earned in the last year alone. However, it was one of the old guard, Mr. Garth Brooks brought in over $90 million dollars in the last twelve months. TWELVE MONTHS.

Now that is a lot of beer money.

Welcome to the Real world, everyone. The weather is much better over here.
