Blake Shelton and Jermaine Paul Revive a Classic That Rocks the House

Don’t get us wrong, we like duets a lot. But sometimes there can be a little too much going on.

However, during this duet with Blake Shelton and The Voice’s second season winner, Jermaine Paul, we were simply spellbound.

Jermaine was a backup singer for many years until he became a solo artist, propelled by his time on The Voice.  And this video really showcases his masterful talents!

The way that he and Blake perform this “oldie but goodie” from 1967, “Soul Man,” brings this universally loved song right into the 21st century.

The backing band, with their brass instruments and smooth moves, only adds to the onstage excitement.

In fact, we’d say that it’s hard to say which performer is showing more soul. They’re giving one another a run for their money, that’s for sure!

It’s also easy to see how much fun Blake and Jermaine are having with it, and the energy is contagious.

You might just want to get up and dance along with this power-packed performance!
