Dolly Parton Rocks The Banjo In This Performance of 'Apple Jack'

Dolly Parton has been playing the guitar since she was only six years old, before she even received her first “real” guitar. In fact, she first learned how to play on a homemade guitar, and quickly put it to use with her naturally angelic voice and musical talent.

We saw this great footage of Dolly at the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah, performing her classic song “Apple Jack” in a concert for her “Pure And Simple” tour and had to share it.

As everyone knows, Dolly is famous for being anything but simple — her flamboyant and glamorous style has been Dolly Parton’s signature for decades now.

For this “Pure and Simple” tour, she has pared down the music for a much more organic feel. Even so, she’s still Dolly — and the fans agree that she’s got plenty of pizzazz, even when she keeps it simple!
