Have you ever noticed how Chris Stapleton sounds just as good live as he does on recordings? That’s because he likes to keep it real: no fancy pre-recordings, no lip-syncing, and no miming to an instrumental track.
No way, Stapleton fans -- when you see and hear Chris performing, you know you’re getting the real thing!
Even his acoustic work impresses us; this video is a wonderful example of his down-home charm and ability to produce beautiful music even without all the bells and whistles.
At the Big House Museum in Macon, Georgia, Chris performed his SteelDrivers song, “Where Rainbows Never Die” on the same guitar that Gregg of the Allman Brothers wrote the song, “Melissa.”
This vintage Gibson J-50 guitar is already part of music’s rich history, and Chris is one of many talented folks who have had the honor to play it.
We enjoyed this performance so much -- it is simple, heartfelt, and everything that Chris Stapleton fans will adore!
