Faith Hill Helps George Strait Say Goodbye to His Adoring Public
Few artists ever achieve the level of stardom that George Strait has.
Known as the 'King of Country' by many fans of the genre, Strait has enjoyed a career that’s spanned four decades now.
When he announced his decision to retire from touring, country-loving hearts around the world broke at the news.
However, his fans did have a chance to say goodbye during his final tour, aptly named the “Cowboy Rides Away” tour.
During his final engagement in Arlington, Texas, thousands of fans came by to bid George Strait farewell.
Quite a few famous friends stopped by to pay their respects, as well, including Faith Hill.
This duet between the two of them is so touching, not just because both of them are masters of their musical craft, but also because the final show represented the end of an era.
When Faith gave him a heartfelt “Thank you, George,” it was hard not to shed a few tears at such a touching moment.
Although George is no longer touring, his performances have now become a can’t-miss attraction in Las Vegas -- so fans can still ride toward this cowboy if they feel like paying George a visit!
