You young ‘uns out there might not be aware of a 1982 rock song by Huey Lewis and the News -- unless you’re a Garth Brooks fan, that is!
The 1980s classic, “Workin’ for a Livin’” reached spot #41 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list back in its heyday.
But to Garth, the song sounded like it was just made to go country.
When the two artists decided to get together and do a country-style reroll in 2007, it climbed all the way up to #15 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles -- quite a feat for genre change-up 25 years later!
The two commemorated the release of the song with a new video, too.
It’s an action-packed story that involves some really crazy (and dangerous!) situations.
We thought the guys must’ve been out of their minds to do some of these wild stunts, but in fact there were some technological tricks that were responsible for making things look much scarier than they actually were.
Looks like a fun way to capture the spirit of this great song!
