George Strait Wows the Audience and Fellow Performer in This Duet
The talent and universal appeal of George Strait is hard to dispute. He has been in show business for decades, and is beloved by country fans across several generations.
When this living legend chooses to sing with another performer, they just can't turn down the opportunity to perform with one of country’s greatest stars.
This performance took place at Boston’s Gillette Stadium during Strait’s “The Cowboy Rides Away” tour, and features a starry-eyed Tim McGraw who appears to be in awe of the fact that he is actually performing “Nobody In His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her” with one of the most important names in country music.
The two singers’ voices blend together so perfectly, and the song is so well performed, that it is hard to believe this was a live performance instead of a fancier studio recording.
Strait may be the undisputed “King of Country,” but Tim McGraw is definitely keeping up the pace. And the only thing we can think of that’s better than one country star, is two of them -- performing together for their fans!
