We always love seeing our favorite stars enjoying their success. But when they give back to the communities that helped to support them, we go into some feel-good emotional overload! Earlier this year, Chris Stapleton gave the world a major warm fuzzy moment when he presented his old high school band with enough musical instruments so they don’t have to share anymore.
The contribution became possible through a gift by Ram Trucks, ACM Lifting Lives, and the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation. Thanks to their generosity, Stapleton was able to present his alma mater, Johnson Central High School in Paintsville Kentucky, with $57,000 worth of new musical instruments and equipment for the band.
“Ram Nation,” Ram Trucks’ nonprofit organization, also built an outdoor theater for the school to enjoy. Chris Stapleton is proud of his hometown roots and it’s awesome that he’s helping out.
Thanks to him and these great organizations, Paintsville might just be raising another famous musician someday soon.
