Here’s What Happened When Garth Brooks Joined Another Country Legend On Stage
Two megastars of country onstage -- can it possibly get any better?
When it’s two guys who have both been named “Artist of the Decade” at some point in their careers by the Academy of Country Music, you know it’s going to be good!
Introduced by Queen Reba herself, this performance between Garth Brooks and George Strait is epic country at its finest.
Garth began the show with a powerful version of “The Dance,” and took his hat off to George as he introduced this living legend.
(We found that super classy!)
George then broke into an easygoing rendition of his ballad, “The Cowboy Rides Away,” before Garth joined in and the two brought it home.
The performance, in honor of Dick Clark, was the first time that these two legends had graced the stage together, and every second of their masterful performance had the crowd swaying in their seats.
As one fan said, the only thing missing from this performance was a mic drop at the end.
But these guys don’t have to brag; they can let the awe-inspiring show speak for itself!
