Is there a bigger honor than performing in front of an audience full of the industry’s most famous folks?
Jason Aldean isn’t one to play favorites -- after all, he treats every fan like a VIP.
But when he was slated to perform in front of the Academy of Country Music and its nominees, Jason hit it way out of the ballpark with a rocking rendition of his hit song, “Lights Come On.”
(He also got to be introduced by Luke Bryan, which would probably just make us weak at the knees, but that’s another story entirely!)
The scene was set for an amazing performance:
There was a dazzling light show and a backdrop that featured photos from some of Jason’s most awesome moments as a country artist.
The backing band’s energy kept up perfectly with Jason as he enthralled the studio audience, as well as the viewers at home, with this selection from his seventh album.
“Lights Come On” netted Jason the coveted 2016’s ACM “Top Country Song” award, and after seeing this fabulous performance, we agree that it’s a real winner!
