Jason Aldean’s party anthem, '1994,' received mixed reviews from critics when it was first released in 2013 — but fans don’t care much for critics, they just know what they like! The song was actually co-written with him by country artist, Thomas Rhett. On a few occasions in the past, Rhett has joined Aldean on stage and performed the song together. This past July, an audience in Deer Creek, Illinois, was on the receiving end of one such performance.
Thomas Rhett joined Jason Aldean on a number of tour dates this summer, so it seemed only natural that they sing “1994” — and the audience was just loving it! A concert guest’s recording of the performance shows fans reveling in every second of the talented duo’s rendition of this classic party song.
We loved the way that everyone was whooping it up, some of them raising their hands and even their lit-up cell phones in tribute to this power-packed performance! Jason Aldean will be making many stops in the Midwest throughout his tour, and his fans in that region are pretty hardcore -- so we can’t wait to see what he’ll do next!
