Lauren Duski Lights up the Stage with Her Cover of a Garth Brooks Classic
This past season of The Voice displayed some of the most intense rivalries that this NBC show has ever experienced.
Each episode kept its viewers on the edge of our seats, wondering how these contestants could possibly top one another.
The talented people competing were all next-level fabulous this season, making the stakes super high! Lauren Duski was definitely one of the best, with plenty of fans rooting for her victory.
Lauren’s final performance absolutely blew us away! She chose to sing "The Dance,” that emotional ballad by Garth Brooks.
This is not an easy song to sing; it’s got a certain depth to it that requires any singer to bring out some intensity in the performance.
But Lauren made every second count! “The Dance” never sounded so good (except for Garth, of course!); Lauren rose to the occasion beautifully.
Her versatile voice can make a variety of musical types work well for her, but here Lauren’s delivery is sweetly haunting – perfect for the spirit of this intense tune.
What a fabulous way to show off her phenomenal skills!
