Some people are die-hard country fans, and don’t like it when other genres enter into the mix.
We think that adding new elements to any type of music can only make it more interesting. What’s even better is when cool country music comes from an unexpected source.
Plenty of folks seem to be appreciating Chris Stapleton’s awesome musical style these days (finally, right?), and we’ve seen tons artists covering his stuff.
It seems like one of the biggest favorites is his breakout hit, “Nobody to Blame.”
Recently, we were surprised to come across a super cool cover version of this song by the R&B artist, Karma (in a glammed-up cowgirl ensemble!) and featuring up-and-coming country singer, Collin Self.
Although Karma’s musical artistry tends to live in another genre, she gave it her all and committed to creating an awesome country sound for this cover; it’s got a great country vibe, but still has Karma’s unique spin on things.
We think that Chris Stapleton’s fans are gonna love this -- after all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
