One of the things we love best about country music is that each song tells a story.
Jason Aldean may still be pretty young, but he’s well on the way to legendary status.
What can we say… the guy knows how to spin a fascinating tale through music.
When AMC sponsored a show to promote their dramatic Western series, Hell on Wheels, Jason Aldean seemed like a perfect candidate to perform.
He did an outstanding rendition of “The Truth,” from his acclaimed album, “Wide Open.”
This song, which was written with fellow artist Ashley Monroe, tells a story about how pride can sometimes get in the way of revealing difficult emotions, even to ourselves.
Jason’s voice seemed to vibrate with wistful emotion during this live performance; the lyrics combined with his delivery really touched our hearts.
This performance was just part of Jason’s simple acoustic show, but its awesomeness just proves that a performance doesn’t always need to be elaborate to be effective.
Whether he’s putting on a huge concert, or sitting in front of a small crowd doing a great performance like this, Jason Aldean’s talent and passion for music always shines!
