When Toby Keith comes to mind, we often think of that tough “bad boy” image he usually shows us; after all, he’s outspoken and doesn’t tolerate nonsense.
But the truth is that Toby’s got quite a few facets to his personality, and sometimes he can be a total softie!
This concert at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio shows just what a sweetheart Toby is when it comes to his fans.
He invited a special friend onstage to help out with the performance that night: 10-year-old Trevor Scott, who was in the care of the Cleveland Clinic as he awaited a liver transplant.
Together, they sang Trevor’s favorite song, “American Soldier.”
This little cutie was absolutely adorable, and his passionate performance stole the hearts of everyone in attendance.
The best part of this story: Trevor was able to get the life-saving transplant he needed just 3 days after meeting Toby, and has been doing fine since then.
Now we know that even tough guys like Toby can have big hearts!
